Common questions

Does Sotto need internet? Only once, to download the translation model (about 2.5 GB, Wi-Fi recommended). All translation afterwards happens on your device.
Where is my data stored? On your device. Translations, photos, and conversations are never uploaded anywhere.
How do I restore my purchase? Settings tab, Advanced section, “Restore Purchases”.
A language is missing voice input or speech. Voice features depend on what iOS supports for that language; text translation still works.
